Richard T. Bell, Jr.

Richard T. Bell, Jr. graduated from St. John Fisher College in 1992 and received his J.D. from the University of Toledo in 1997. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Bell was employed with the Lucas County Ohio Public Defender's Office and with the Holtzberg Law Firm in Rochester, New York. Mr. Bell is an experienced civil litigator in both state and federal Courts in New York, with an emphasis on commercial litigation, construction law and ad valorem taxation. He became a principal of the firm in 2004.

Mr. Bell is active in local politics, serving as treasurer of the Monroe County Republican Party in 2007 and 2008. In 2005, he was appointed by Governor Pataki to serve as a trustee for the New York State IOLA Fund and the SUNY Brockport College Council. He is a former board member of the Monroe County Board of Ethics and has participated on the Board of Directors for several local development companies in Monroe County. Mr. Bell is a member of the Monroe County and New York State Bar Associations and is an associate member of the General Building Contractors Association of New York.
